Steven Kane clinched his first pole position in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB with a superb performance at Thruxton today (Saturday 5 May) ahead of the fifth race of the season.
Kane (Motorbase Performance) became the third pole-setter of the season as only a tenth of a second covered the top three drivers in qualifying. His best lap just edged him ahead of Tim Harvey (Red Line Racing), while James Sutton (Red Line Racing) was also right in contention around the high-speed Hampshire track.
