Danny Watts swept to pole position for round 19 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Silverstone today (Saturday, 14 October), but with only a quarter of a second covering the top five cars, the stage is set for a tremendous race later in the afternoon.
 
Watts (Team IRWIN with Red Line) jumped to the top of the times to depose Jason Templeman (Team Parker with SAS), after Templeman had held the top slot for much of the session. "It just turned around from testing yesterday," said Templeman of his time, which he achieved after only seven laps. "I've got a good set of tyres for the race," he added after his best qualifying run of the season.
