Tim Harvey set the pace in tricky conditions to take pole position in qualifying for round 15 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Knockhill today (Saturday, 2 September). With just over a second covering the top 10, the stage is set for a thrilling race later in the day.
 
On a wet and slippery track, Harvey headed the times with a fine session for Motorbase Performance to take his second pole of the season by 0.156s from championship leader Damien Faulkner. "The track was drying, and it was probably too dry for wets and not dry enough for slicks. So you had to persevere with the wets," said Harvey after topping the times.
