Oulton Park PreviewParr Motorsport head to Oulton Park for rounds five and six of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB this weekend (6-7 June).

The team head to the Cheshire circuit after a mixed weekend at the previous round at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.

Dino Zamparelli had a promising European trip, qualifying well and finishing fourth and fifth overall in races one and two respectively. He added to his points tally, leaving him sixth overall, a position he is hoping to improve on at Oulton Park.

Team mate, Paul Rees, had a good weekend with seventh and 10th place finishes. He is aiming for better results this weekend at Oulton Park, to get his championship challenge on track.

Mark Cole had a disappointing start to the Spa weekend after a broken driveshaft ended his qualifying session after only 500 metres, which meant he started from the back of the grid after failing to set a time. His luck soon turned around and he made a great comeback in race one to run as high as 12th by the half way point in the race, only to drop to 15th (fifth in class) at the chequered flag after having used the best of his tyres. Mark finished race two third in the ProAm1 class, leaving Spa a happy man and aiming for more at Oulton Park.

Peter Kyle-Henney had an unfortunate spin in the extremely wet free practice session early on in the weekend, but he recovered to take fourth and fifth in the ProAm2 class in races one and two. Peter is hoping to build on those class results and is aiming for the podium at Oulton Park.

The first track action at Oulton Park will be the first free practice session on Friday 5th June at 09.50, followed by the second practice session at 13.25. Qualifying will be on Saturday 6th June at 12.35, with race one following at 17.10. Race two will be at 16.15 on Sunday 7th June.
